Can I inspect your venues?

We invite you to come into the School and view our venues to determine which space is best suited for your event. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the Venue Hire Coordinator at venuehire@ahs.qld.edu.au or 07 3230 9412.

When will the School and car park open/close for my event?

This information will be provided by the Venue Hire Coordinator prior to your event. 

Is All Hallows’ School wheelchair accessible?

All venues available for hire are wheelchair accessible and have a ramp or a lift for easy access.

Is public liability insurance required for my event?

A certificate of Currency for public liability insurance must be supplied to the Venue Coordinator to confirm your event.

Are decorations permitted?

Due to the heritage nature of the School, only rose petals and water-soluble confetti are permitted to be used outside only during your event. Floral arrangements and balloons are allowed. However, no items can be pinned, glued or taped in any way to the walls, floors or ceilings. All decorations must be removed after your event; otherwise, an excessive cleaning fee may occur.

Are pets permitted on the School grounds?

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on School premises.

Can we bring alcohol onsite?

We work with various catering companies that offer alcohol packages for any event. Bringing alcohol into the School grounds is to be by prior arrangement and approval for the School. The service of alcohol must comply with all current liquor laws, and the Hirer is responsible for obtaining any liquor licenses if supplying alcohol. 

Can we BYO food or beverage?

Unfortunately, BYO food is not permitted at All Hallows' School. We work with a range of catering companies that offer a selection of menus for any event. Please consult the Venue Coordinator before your event to have your event catered for.

Can I access other areas of the School grounds during my event?

Event attendees can only access their hired venue/s and pathways that give a reasonable or direct passage from the venue/s to the Dodge Lane car park or other entrance points. 

Is smoking allowed on the School grounds?

Smoking is prohibited on the School premise and within 5 metres outside of the School boundary.

Do you offer catering?

Our Café 547 team can work with you to create custom catering packages to suit the needs of your event. Alternatively, we work closely with Pure Catering, who offers a range of catering menus for various events.

Do you have an onsite café?

Our Café 547 operates from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm during school hours. The café offers a range of barista-made hot and cold drinks and a selection of freshly baked muffins, wraps and sandwiches.

Do I need security?

All events where alcohol is served will require professional security. Our Venue Hire Coordinator will assess each case. If it is determined that your event will need security, this will be an additional cost. 

Will I have access to the School’s WI-FI?

As part of the venue hire charge, WI-FI is provided for your event if requested. You must give the School three business days’ notice if you wish to use the School’s WI-FI during the hire period.

Parking

Why is parking subject to availability?

How many car parks are available for my event?

Our onsite car park offers 103 spaces to utilise for your event period. However, parking is shared use and subject to availability. Parking is not be available during School hours. 

Why is parking subject to availability?

School-based events may occur in a different venue at the same time as your event. In this case, the car park will be made available to the School first. Any additional parking available can be utilised during your venue hire period.
